Opening of a representation office in Spain for a Colombian bank
OBJECTIVE
- To obtain authorisation from the Bank of Spain to open a representative office in Spain for a Colombian bank, with the aim of promoting investment in Colombia by the Colombian and Latin American community present in our country.
METHOD
- Preparation of the report and the entire information dossier to be presented by the Spanish banking regulator.
- Arrangements with the Bank of Spain to resolve all procedural issues and information on the good standing of the positions, professional history of the managers and representatives in Spain, and their registration in the BDE’s senior management file.
RESULT
- Authorisation was granted in less than three months.
- They opened the office in Madrid and optimised their costs by being able to outsource all the services of personnel management, payroll, retentions and relations with third parties, Bank of Spain, with our company. Focusing on their work of information on investments in Colombia and loans from the parent company for Colombian residents.
